At Trine University, we are committed to helping you make your college experience cost-effective and accessible. The Office of Financial Aid is here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring you are informed and confident about your financial aid options.
To be eligible for financial aid, a student must:
- Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Have a high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate, and have the ability to benefit from the course of study
- Provide a valid and verifiable Social Security number or otherwise be determined an eligible non-citizen
- Register with the Selective Service, if required
- Be able to prove federal benefits have not been suspended or terminated as a result of a drug offense
- Be determined to have a financial need according to the results from filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or renewal application
- Make satisfactory academic progress according to the university's policy for financial aid eligibility
- Complete the FAFSA annually

Scholarships
