Summary
The Director of Transfer Pathways and Evaluations leads all aspects of transfer credit evaluation and pathway development. This position ensures accurate, timely transfer credit processing for dual enrollment students, new undergraduates, and current students while building strategic partnerships that support enrollment growth. The director manages articulation agreements, maintains transfer systems and catalogs, ensures compliance with accreditation and degree requirements, and advises students on transfer options. The role also develops transfer pathways, high school/dual enrollment resources, and collaborates closely with academic leadership, community colleges, and career centers. The director oversees policies and processes related to transfer credit, second degrees, change of major, ICC/CTL, teach-out agreements, military credit evaluations and participates in key recruitment events.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage all transfer credit evaluations for dual enrollment, incoming first year/transfer students, and current students across all undergraduate programs. (Excluded Brooks College)
- Maintain and utilize Slate, TES, Transferology, and transfer catalogs; oversee articulation agreements, transfer guides, ICC/CTL, and automated evaluation systems.
- Evaluate academic and non-academic transcripts (including AP, IB, CLEP, PLTW, military credits, international credentials) for transfer equivalency and degree applicability.
- Collaborate with deans and academic leaders to determine course equivalencies, accreditation eligibility, and degree requirement alignment.
- Oversee policies and processes related to change of major, second degrees, readmissions, non-degree students, permission to take courses elsewhere, and campus location changes.
- Develop and maintain transfer pathways, DE program pathways, high school resources, and partnerships with community colleges and career centers.
- Advise students on transfer options and degree requirements; participate in Scholarship Day, VIP Day, and SOAR.
- Create reports, analyze data, update program control sheets, maintain web resources, and recommend policy improvements based on industry trends.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures for all positions of the Transfer Pathways and Evaluations department
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required. Preference will be given to candidates who have attended an independent, accredited college or university.
