Trine University joins Coalition for College

September 17, 2024

Trine University is proud to announce its membership in the Coalition for College, a group of more than 150 higher education institutions committed to providing all students with access to a successful, affordable and transformative college experience.

“We’re excited to join with other colleges and universities committed to breaking down barriers to higher education,” said Kim Bennett, vice president for enrollment management. “The values of the Coalition for College perfectly align with those of Trine University. Both the Coalition and Trine are committed to helping college students earn degrees while keeping debt to a minimum.”

The Coalition offers unique, easy application to its member institutions through the Scoir platform, already used by many students and counselors.

Students who create an account on Scoir can search and compare college options. The information students provide to Scoir can be used to fill out applications to member colleges, simplifying the process.

“Our membership in the Coalition for College provides a range of resources for students and their supporters as they navigate the admissions process,” said Bennett.

Application to Trine University is free on Scoir and elsewhere.
