Orlowski was nominated by Connor Large, an electrical engineering major from Plymouth, Indiana.
Large commended Orlowski for her unwavering commitment to her students' success. Notably, when the school faced a vacancy in its physics department, she proactively pursued certification and assumed responsibility for teaching the subject.
Her dedication has been instrumental in making clear the interconnectedness of mathematics and physics with the engineering field, inspiring young minds to explore these crucial disciplines.
