My name is Dr. Cindy Neyer. My college education began at the University of Kansas. After obtaining my Bachelor of Science degree in physics, I went on to graduate school at Iowa State University where I earned a Ph.D. in physics. My Ph.D. dissertation research involved the applications of supersymmetry to quantum mechanics. Beyond graduate school, my primary interest has been in teaching at the college level.    

My first full-time teaching position was at the Morris branch of the University of Minnesota. I taught there for six years before coming to Trine University in 1998. At Trine, the courses I teach most frequently are University Physics I and II and College Physics I and II taken by students with engineering and science-related majors, and exercise science, and pre-physical therapy students.

Outside of work, I have a variety of hobbies including various forms of needlework such as quilt making and embroidery, knitting, crocheting, making jewelry, reading, and playing the harp.  In recent years, I have made afghans to donate to Project Linus, and hats for Warm Up America.
