I joined the Ketner School of Business as Assistant Professor of Management in the fall of 2020, after serving as adjunct faculty for Trine Online and the Ketner School of Business and working full-time as a career advisor and industry liaison in the career center for over a decade. Career coaching and professional development is in my blood. I will continue to guide people in their career exploration, planning, and search for meaningful employment as a faculty member. My educational background includes an MA in Counseling from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. Ten years’ experience in management consulting and market research industries complement my experiences today. I enjoy helping and empowering people as well as connecting organizations with Trine University students, staff and faculty. In my former role, I planned and hosted many conferences, guest speakers, career fairs, and other types of networking events and will continue to support these efforts on behalf of the university. 

I served as a leader and long-term member of the Northeast Indiana Career Enrichment (NICE) Consortium, an organization comprised of representatives from eight area colleges and universities who collaborate to create a robust pipeline for employment. Trine is an active member of NACE (National Association of Colleges and Employers) and I personally follow several podcasts and social media channels (blogs, YouTube, Twitter) for vetted professionals in the personal and career development space.

In my community, I serve as a board member for the Purdue University Extension Office and volunteer for the Steuben County Community Foundation. Last but not least, I am a busy mom with a teenage son who is an active student athlete. Fun fact: The three other immediate members of my family (husband and two adult sons) are Trine University alumni!
