I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, where I earned a bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy Technology and Pre-Physician Assistant studies. Following this, I gained valuable experience as a Radiation Therapist at Loyola University. Driven by a commitment to advance my career and deepen my knowledge, I pursued further education, earning my master's degree from Rush University in Chicago, where I graduated at the top of my class in 2015.

Subsequently, I relocated to Fort Wayne, Indiana, to join my husband and embark on the next phase of my professional journey. For eight years, I served as a Physician Assistant at Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology, delivering compassionate care to patients in need. However, my passion for education and mentorship began to emerge during this time, especially through my experiences precepting PA students.

In June 2023, as I departed from Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology, I resolved to pursue a career in PA education. Recognizing the impact of effective teaching, I began to transition into academia. Initially, I served as an adjunct faculty member before joining Trines Physician Assistant Program as an Assistant Faculty Member in May 2024.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am deeply involved in community service, dedicating my time to a non-profit organization, Girls on the Run of NEI, where I actively contribute to fostering confidence and empowerment in young girls. Additionally, I maintain a clinical practice one day a week in the field of eating disorder medicine.

Residing in southwest Fort Wayne, I cherish precious moments with my husband and four young children. Whether volunteering at my children's school, cheering on my sons during baseball games, or engaging in imaginative play with my daughter, family remains at the center of my life. When time permits, I indulge in my personal interests, which include baking delectable treats, unleashing my creativity through crafting, and exploring new destinations through travel adventures.
