I am an assistant professor in the exercise science department of Trine University’s School of Health Sciences. I graduated from Trine University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program and am very excited to contribute to the university that helped me grow into the clinician and scholar I am today. My excitement stems from the opportunity to mentor young professionals who will impact our community, and to contribute to our field’s current knowledge through research.
I currently treat patients in the outpatient orthopedic setting. Some of my favorite moments are those in which my patients and I examine the root of their underlying condition in order to combat that condition and optimize their quality of life. I firmly believe that the more my patients understand about their injury or disorder, the better equipped they are to overcome it. I believe my passion for patient education and research led me to academia.
I grew up in the Angola/Hamilton area and love to stay involved in many aspects of our close community. In my spare time, I enjoy coaching soccer and track and field at various levels. Additionally, I love to run, play soccer, snow ski and spend time on the water.
