As a freshman, Lily interned at one of the top 15 courses in Indiana, and as a sophomore she worked her way up to a top five club in Florida.

"A day at work was never the same as I bounced between different departments within the golf operation, from merchandising to instruction to tournament operation. Through these experiences and training, I gained a well-rounded education."- Lily Williamson

"I set a goal when I started college to work away from home after my sophomore year and I worked diligently to make that goal a reality," she said.

She said her internship at Quail West allowed her to take on new responsibilities and pushed her to grow as a professional and an individual.

Lily Williamson"Quail West has been more than generous at pushing as much education in such a short period of time as possible," she said. "A day at work was never the same as I bounced between different departments within the golf operation, from merchandising to instruction to tournament operation. Through these experiences and training, I gained a well-rounded education."

As a result of the internship, Lily began her education to become a PGA member so she can move into a Head Professional role quicker.

"I would like to have my PGA education completed by graduation from Trine or shortly thereafter," she said. "With that, I would like to work toward becoming a Head Professional at a private multi-course facility."
