The Communication Major

Experience both theory and hands-on-practice from day one. Each year of the communication major is tailored with coursework that builds you into an effective communicator in multiple media. Trine graduates don't just create content -- they understand the why of content creation -- from its effect on audiences to its ethical implications. 

Four Years of Focused Training

Your first day of freshman year is your first day of a new job. Every new COM major is "hired" by the Trine Broadcast Network in a series of practical courses that culminate in a portfolio of professional work, making you ready for the workforce upon graduation. You will gain experience working as a production assistant, content writer, videographer, photographer, broadcaster, event planner, and more.
