John Liu, Ph.D., assistant professor in Trine University’s Wade Department of Mechanical
and Aerospace Engineering, has earned certification as a FANUC robotics instructor
after a year of training and examinations.
As a result, the university is now a FANUC-certified education training facility. Students in Liu’s courses and anyone partnering with the university will have the opportunity to earn FANUC robotics operator certification by passing the appropriate exams.
Offering the only national certifications for Robot Operations, Programming, Integrated Vision, and industry 4.0 Connected Smart Manufacturing, FANUC allows students and workers to document their knowledge and fill high-demand, high-paying career opportunities in robotics and advanced Manufacturing.
