Come to the MTI Center on Thursday, Dec. 4, for Trine University’s ninth annual Research and Design Symposium from 1-3 p.m.

This event is a chance for members of the community and others to learn about 56 projects, ranging from the university’s exercise science majors to biomedical engineering students.

Projects showcased at this event include departmental freshman and research projects alongside Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU).

Students use the event to gain practice and practical skills in how to present their work in a professional setting.

Members of the public will be able to cast their vote for who should win the People’s Choice award, while a panel of judges will determine winners of other awards such as the best REU and best undergraduate research award.
