Shandra (Clawson) Hawes, a 2013 forensic science graduate, recently was announced as one of only four winners worldwide — and the only winner based in the United States — of a Magnet Forensics Scholarship Award. Read more about her award and her time at Trine University.
Jennifer Klutts, a 2017 forensic science graduate, attended the University of Maryland - Baltimore to earn her master’s degree in toxicology. She now works in the biotech industry as a Product Transfer Associate. Read more about her experience.
James Evans, a 2013 forensic science/criminal justice graduate, completed an internship sponsored by the Department of Energy at the Ames Laboratory in Ames, Iowa. He participated in research on strengthening forensic fracture matching by use of instrumentation and the effects of corrosive environments on fractured surfaces. Mr. Evans presented his research at the 2013 American Academy for Forensic Sciences annual meeting.
