The Trine University undergraduate application is free and there’s no essay!

IMPORTANT:  Our office is prepared to process admission decisions, financial aid offers, merit scholarship decisions, housing placement and all other related processing seamlessly and without delay.  Unofficial transcripts or unofficial documentation of courses completed along with grades, grade point average, class rank (if available) and ACT or SAT scores will be considered in lieu of official records.  However, official documentation must be received prior to enrollment.  Assistance with your application can be provided by an admission representative.

Main Campus Application Requirements

In addition to your application, we will need the following items for admission consideration:

High School Transcripts
Request your high school to send a copy of your current transcript to Trine.

  • Transcripts can be submitted via mail, fax, Parchment, screenshot, and e-mail.

Standardized Testing Policy (ACT or SAT)

Trine University is Test Optional. "Test-optional" means that standardized tests are not required from high school students when they are considered for admission to Trine University. Of course, students can still choose to submit their test scores, however, those scores will be considered to be only part of the student’s overall academic record. 

High school students can take the American College Test (ACT) and/or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and request that scores be sent to Trine.

  • The University's code numbers are 1250 for the ACT and 1811 for the SAT. 
  • Test scores can be submitted via mail, fax, Parchment, screenshot, or e-mail and may be sent FREE from College Board to your counselor at any time.

Acceptance

All applicants from the United States are accepted on a rolling basis. We'll notify you within two weeks after your application and supporting documents are received.

Financial Aid
