Students learn through practical, hands-on courses teach students to do the kind of writing businesses need: effective websites, well-designed technical documents, convincing proposals, and more. Our faculty are active scholars who share their professional experiences inside—and outside—the classroom. They have written books and serve as columnists for local newspapers. They design classroom projects that benefit local businesses and organizations. They present at international conferences, host film festivals and present campus symposia on academic and contemporary topics.
