Meet the Director
Dr. Janelle Pulczinski is the Director of the Writing Center and Assistant Professor in the Humanities and Communications Department. She has been at Trine since January 2020 and specializes in Literature, Composition, and Cultural Studies. In her spare time, Dr. P loves reading anything, hanging out with her cats (who also help her grade sometimes), and baking.

Meet the Tutors
Kaci is a senior English Education major. She is enthusiastic about writing of all sorts
and enjoys working with clients in the Writing Center to help with their assignments.
Kaci is eager to help with any project, including essays, lab reports, and media presentations.
Emma is an Elementary and Special Education major. She enjoys working with others to enhance their writing or other assignments. Her strengths include projects, brainstorming, editing, and organization. Emma is available for in-person, online, and e-tutor appointments.
Hope is a sophomore English Education major. She loves writing, both technical and creative, and is willing to help with anything from technical essays to presentations. She is excited to see you at your next appointment, whether it is in-person, e-tutoring, or online.
Kenzie is a Communication and English Major. She is passionate about writing and is excited
to help other students develop their writing and communication skills in any way she
can. She is available for in person appointments as well as online and e-tutor appointments.

Lana is an Extended Reality major. She enjoys helping others develop their ideas and further their writing skills. Lana is willing to help with any assignment and is available for both in-person and online appointments.
Madison H. is a junior Secondary English Education major. She loves helping others fine tune their own writings. Madison is excited to help others further their writing at the Writing Center. She is open to in-person and E-Tutoring appointments!
Faith is a senior English major. She loves reading dystopian, romantic, and historical fiction, as well as modern biographies and poetry. Faith is happy to help you with your upcoming essays and assignments, particulary communications, English, social sciences and humanities projects. She is available to help in-person, online, or via e-tutoring.
Brittany is a sophomore Psychology major. She enjoys reading and helping students find their writing styles. She is happy to help you with upcoming assignments! Brittany is available for in-person appointments.
Kassandra is a senior business administration major. She enjoys diverse writing styles and is happy to help with whatever she can. She has written papers and projects for business classes, but would also love to help with creative or humanities writing. She is available for in-person, online, and e-tutoring appointments.
Grant is an Electrical Engineer who enjoys writing. The writing process, from brainstorming to revising, is something he enjoys. His wide variety of writing styles gives him a unique vantage point and may help spark something new in your writing journey!
Alex is a junior English and Communications major. He enjoys different styles of writing and loves helping with papers. Alex is excited to help students with any project, but he particularly enjoys research papers and would love to help you out with your writing needs.
Everett is an English and Special Education major. He spends his free time reading and skateboarding. He is excited to help others advance in their writing abilities. He has experience in argumentative and research papers.
Rachel is a sophomore English Education major. She spends free time reading fiction, writing, and watching sports. She is most excited to help other enhance their writing and find their voices. Rachel is happy to help with any of your other writing needs.
Taylor is a sophomore English Education major. She is passionate about all things reading and writing and is enthusiastic about meeting with clients from all backgrounds. She is available for in-person, online, and e-tutor sessions.
Cadence is an English Education major. She often spends her free time writing poetry and creative works. She loves writing, making her great for editing papers and helping you grow. She is especially eager to help with any creative projects.
Maddie K. is a junior Secondary English Education major. She is excited to help students further their knowledge about the writing process. Maddie is available for both in-person and e-tutoring appointments.
Lizzie is a senior Communications and English major. Her favorite thing about working in the Writing Center is getting to help others further their education. Lizzie is available to help directly in the Writing Center with any writing tasks you may be struggling with.
Olivia is a sophomore English Education major. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching films, and collecting poetry. She loves writing and reviewing papers to ensure clients are more confident writers. Olivia is available for in-person, online, and e-tutoring appointments.
Employment Opportunities
Do you have a passion for helping others improve their writing? If so, becoming one of our tutors might be right for you!
Writing Center Tutors work one-on-one with students to assist them in improving their skills as writers, whether this is through researching processes or editing papers. Event planning and other administrative projects are also part of the position. If you don't have experience in a task, experienced tutors are willing to help and mentor you through the process.
