Robert Doolin
Robert (Bob) Doolin earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Ball State University in 1991. He completed a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University in 2001 and was named the Outstanding Graduate Student that year. He is a four time recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award from the School of Public Policy at Purdue Fort Wayne and was presented with the School of Public Policy, Distinguished Alumni Award in 2010. In May 2016, Bob received the Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Award from the School of Professional Studies at Trine University.
Mr. Doolin has served both the state and federal government since 1991. He has held a variety of positions during that time including service as a juvenile and adult probation officer, home detention coordinator and Federal Firearms Instructor. He is currently employed with the Northern District of Indiana Federal Community Defenders as an Investigator and Mitigation Support. He is a Member of the National Defender Investigator Association.
Mr. Doolin has served as an Adjunct Instructor for the School of Professional Studies at Trine University since 2008. Bob has taught Graduate and Undergraduate Courses for Trine Online with a focus on Criminal Justice, Leadership and Ethics.
