Valerie Carson

Valerie has been an adjunct instructor for Trine University for 9 years. She started instructing face-to-face classes at the Logansport campus shortly after earning her Master of Science in Leadership from Trine University. She has taught criminal justice, sociology, psychology, and leadership. For the last 5 years, she has instructed mostly online courses.

She has worked in the Criminal Justice field for over 30 years and has been a licensed addictions counselor for 12 years. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and is a Master Gardener through Purdue University. She has a special affinity for tomatoes and sunflowers but enjoys growing all kinds of vegetables and flowers. She also loves spending time with her husband and their 3 adopted dogs.
